Virtual rat academy

December 14,2026 5 PM - 7 PM

Virtual on Zoom

Free and comprehensive session designed to equip our community with proven strategies for rat prevention and control.

Event Description:

Carnegie Hill Neighbors is proud to sponsor Rat Academy Training with the NYC Department of Health, a free and comprehensive session designed to equip our community with proven strategies for rat prevention and control. This in-depth training provides practical, city-approved methods to address rat activity at its source, helping participants better understand how rats live, why infestations occur, and what steps can effectively stop them. Attendees will learn about their legal responsibilities, best practices for prevention, and the tools and resources available to protect their buildings and blocks. Whether you are a building superintendent, maintenance staff member, tenant, homeowner, property manager, or small business owner, this training offers valuable, actionable information you can put to use right away.  We encourage you to share this opportunity with your building superintendent, management company, or neighbors who may benefit. Together, we can take proactive steps to protect Carnegie Hill and prevent infestations before they start.
